Food storage is important in todays uncertain economy and getting the most nutrition for your money and efforts is something worth knowing.  Find out what blood type has to do with food, especially plant protein foods.  Why purchase and store foods that are disagreeable to your digestive system?  Learn how to combine certain grains, seeds and legumes  that can be soaked and cooked to produce a very tasty, complete protein meal that can be flavored for a hot breakfast or savory meal for lunch or dinner.  

Samples of cooked Plant Protein Pilaf will be offered to guests that want to taste the finished product.  there are several ways to use this combined food and all of them taste good.

Nutrition, Food storage, and Herbal Preparedness

The class will include an overview of nutrition based on the Word of Wisdom. Then ways to incorporate a healthy diet into your food storage. I have preparded handouts on healthy basics to store based on the recomendations of the church but storing foods with the highest vitamin and mineral content. 

We will also cover herbs to store and some basics of healing with herbs. I will also provide a list of herbs to store and what herbs to have in a 72 hour kit.

Guests will learn about combining plant foods to maximize protein intake
Guests will sample cooked plant protein pilaf
guests will be inspired to combine their own, custom combinations
guests will also sample some sprouts made the discussed seeds, legumes and grains

With the right combination of seeds, grain and legumes, it is possible to create customized blends or combinations of  long term food storage items that when soaked and cooked or soaked and sprouted can be used in a variety of ways.  The blood type diet helps sort out which grains, seeds and grains are best suited for each of 4 blood types.  Why store foods that are disagreeable to your system when information can help identify those foods that are agreeable?  In stressful times it will be very beneficial to have stored healthful foods that can be cooked with little fuss and be eaten in a variety of ways with maximum nourishment and satisfaction.  Samples of cooked Protein Plant Pilaf will be tasted by guests and also sprouted samples.
