Discovering the Women in the Scriptures

About this class

How many women would you guess are mentioned in the scriptures? How many do you are mentioned by name?

Would you be surprised to learn that there are almost 600 women mentioned in the scriptures! And that close to one-third of them are mentioned by name!

In this class I will guide you through the scriptures to discover the women “hiding” within their pages. You will be surprised to discover that there are hundreds of women you’ve never even heard of before but whose stories possess powerful lessons applicable to our modern lives. The only reason people think there are not any women in the scriptures is because we just don’t talk about them!

Too often we just skip over their stories and their names without giving them a second thought. I hope that after this class you will have the skills you need to read the scriptures with different eyes and that you will let the power of these women’s stories fill your heart and help you better understand that God loves his daughters just as much as he loves his sons.
