About this class

A discussion of the mouth as the "gateway to the body" and the link between oral health and overall wellness.  The misconception of our teeth as merely tools rather than living, functioning parts of our bodies, the consequences of ignoring oral health, and the benefits to excellent oral health. 

The vital role nutrition plays in dental wellness (as well as overall wellness).  The role of acid and sugar in tooth decay, and the use of probiotics to create optimal conditions for healthy teeth.  Discussion of the meridian tooth chart, thermography, the link between dental inflammation and breast cancer, the link between periodontal disease and other inflammatory diseases (such as arthritis, IBS, Chrone's disease, etc), mercury's role in disrupting health, the link between mercury, autism, and Alzheimer's, toxicity due to re-infection of root canals, cavitations and how to prevent them, and more.

About Dr. Sean Ulm

Dr. Ulm is active in the community, and has participated in various mission trips. In 2006 he and his wife spent a month in the island nation of Vanuatu providing dental care to remote coastal and jungle villages, an experience he counts among his most memorable as a dentist. During his leisure time, Dr. Ulm enjoys motorcycling, running, and skiing.
